What is STYLE?
STYLE is the way you write. A writing STYLE reveals his or her voice. A writer has a unique STYLE of writing which includes how they put words together and the literary devices or figurative language they like to use. A writer may like to use a lot of complex sentences, or a lot of semi-colons, or similes, etc.
What is DICTION?
DICTION is your choice of words – your vocabulary choices. It refers to how well you string words together.
If you have a wide vocabulary and can write a sentence that flows, you are known to have good DICTION.
